The following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) relate solely to the Acorns Green Visa Debit Card for “Gold Tier customers” (customers on the $12 or Gold Tier), issued by nbkc Bank (“Green Card”) or Lincoln Savings Bank (“Green Card”). Failure to consistently maintain your Acorns Green Visa Debit Card in an open and good standing state, will cause you to become immediately ineligible for the promotions described herein (“Promotions”). Failure to maintain any of your Acorns Accounts in good standing will cause you to become ineligible for the Promotions. This promotion will be running starting in March 2024 with no target end date; we will continue to offer the promotion to the customers who meet the above criteria. Customers will typically see the payments as pending within minutes, and these payments will settle within 3-5 business days, which is when these payments will be reflected in their balances.

Promotion: Eligible Gold Tier Customer card holders can receive a match of their first five (5) Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments generated by their Acorns Green Visa Debit Card.

Eligibility Criteria: Gold Tier Customer card customers who: (i) have an open and activated Acorns Green Visa Debit Card, and (ii) have automatic Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments turned on for their Acorns Green Visa Debit Card, will be eligible to have their first five (5) Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments matched (the “Gold Tier customer match”). 

Limitations: Only Real-Time Round-Ups® generated by your Acorns Green Visa Debit Card in the one (1) year following a card order are eligible for the Gold Tier Customer Matching Promotion. Any downgrade of Subscription Tiers or Acorns Green Visa Debit Card cancellation or closure or subsequent customer requested reissues will disqualify you from this Promotion if made prior to each Round-Ups® investment date. You must maintain each of your Acorns Green Visa Debit Card, Acorns Checking Account, and Acorns Invest Account in an open and good standing condition on each Round-Ups® investment date. Round-Ups® multipliers will not be matched (e.g., if you have a $0.30 Round-Ups® and a 2X multiplier, Acorns will match $0.30). Round-Ups® investments generated from (i) any other card or account, (ii) manual Round-Ups®, and (iii) whole dollar Round-Ups®, will not be eligible for the Gold Tier Customer Match. All Real-Time Round-Ups® are in the form of investments in your Acorns Invest Account. The total value of these matched Round-Ups® will not exceed $4.95 per customer. Peer to peer transactions are not eligible for matched Round-Ups®. 

General Terms

There is no option for a cash alternative to these promotions. If a customer, for any reason, ceases to be a Acorns Green Visa Debit cardholder, that customer is no longer eligible for these promotions. The Gold Tier Customer Matching is an additional Real-Time Round-Ups® investment in your Acorns Invest Account. 

To the extent you believe that you are entitled to a Gold Tier Customer Matching that has not been applied, you must notify Acorns within 30 days from the applicable monthly subscription billing date by either sending an email to support@acorns.com or completing and submitting a support request at https://www.acorns.com/support/contact.  Acorns will, upon timely receipt of any such notice, investigate such support request, and Acorns’ decision in respect of such matter shall be final and binding.

Acorns shall be entitled to terminate or cancel all or any portion of this or any other promotion at any time by either providing email notice to its customers or posting such cancellation or termination notice at its website or within its mobile application. In addition, Acorns reserves the right to reject or void all or any portion of a contribution under this or any other promotion at any time if Acorns suspects the claim to that contribution was obtained or made fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these terms. Once an Acorns Invest account is closed, all pending Real-Time Round-Ups® Investments that have not yet been invested will be canceled, including Gold Tier Customer Matching.

The Gold Tier Customer Matching incentive is intended to encourage Acorns clients to routinely invest by utilizing the automatic Real-Time Round-Ups® feature, available to all clients with an active Invest account and Acorns Green Visa debit card. Although the incentive may attract new customers and increase customer engagement and retention, it is important to note that Acorns Advisers does not receive compensation in the form of “payment for order flow” for directing customer orders, or charge clients percentage-based fees or fees based on a percentage of assets under management for accounts under $1,000,000, and so conflicts of interest between Acorns Advisers and its clients due to this incentive are limited.
