Kasia Leyden has joined Acorns as Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to CEO Noah Kerner. As CMO, Kasia will be responsible for overseeing accelerated growth across Acorns, deepening engagement and continuing to elevate the brand. 

With over 15 years of experience in the fintech industry, Kasia has a proven track record in leading impactful strategies for high-growth global companies. She has held leadership positions at companies at the forefront of modern tech, including PayPal, Venmo, Applyboard and Braintree.

"Throughout her career, whether in payments or higher education, Kasia has made complex, useful products easy for everyday people to understand. This aligns perfectly with our purpose at Acorns. Prior to Acorns, Kasia served as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at ApplyBoard, and as Vice President of Global Consumer Marketing at PayPal. There she redefined PayPal's brand positioning and approach to a culturally relevant marketing mix across 400M global customers, boosting brand affinity and operational efficiency. At Venmo, Kasia played a key role in scaling the marketing function and positioning the brand as a cultural zeitgeist, while her work at Braintree repositioned the brand globally and launched a highly successful creative platform.

Kasia is a results-oriented leader, combining creative vision with data-driven strategy. She also serves as a seasoned board advisor, passionate about building high-performing teams and driving long-term, impactful growth.

She assumes the role of CMO effective immediately.
