Acorns Early Card Benefit

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Acorns Gold Acorns Early Card Benefit Waiver Promotion offered by Acorns Grow, Inc. (“Acorns”). 

Subject to these terms and conditions (the “Benefit Terms”), when you meet the eligibility requirements described below, you will be eligible to qualify for a limited waiver of your Acorns Early Card Monthly Subscription Fee (as defined in the Acorns Early Cardholder Terms and Conditions) when you open and fund an Acorns Early account while an Acorns Gold Plan Subscriber in Good Standing (the “Benefit”).¹

The Benefit operates as a waiver for the monthly Acorns Early Child or Family Subscription Fee and is available only to Acorns subscribers who are subscribed to the Acorns Gold Plan, subject to these Waiver Terms. You will remain responsible for any other fees that you owe under the Acorns Early Cardholder Terms and Conditions that are not included in the monthly Acorns Early Child or Family Plan Subscription Fee, as applicable.  

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Benefit each month, you must (i) be subscribed to the Acorns Gold Plan, (ii) complete registration and activation for an Acorns Early Child or Family Plan using the same email address associated with your Acorns account, and (iii) maintain both accounts in Good Standing. 

Subject to the limitations below, the Benefit will apply to your monthly Acorns Early Monthly Subscription Fee for so long as you have an open and in Good Standing Acorns Gold Plan Subscription (the “Benefit Period”). For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not have an open Acorns Early Card subscription, are not eligible for this Benefit.

As used herein, “Good Standing” means an account with verified linked funding source for which all required account opening documentation has been completed and at least a zero balance, and an account status that is not locked, suspended, or otherwise restricted in any way, in Acorns and/or its affiliated entities’ sole discretion.

Limitations

This Benefit is available only to customers of Acorns for Acorns Early (previously GoHenry) Subscription Fees incurred on or after August 7, 2023. This waiver is not transferable and is limited to one Acorns Early Subscription. The Benefit will continue until the earlier of (i) the closing of your Acorns Account, (ii) the downgrading of your Acorns Gold Subscription to a pricing Plan other than Acorns Gold, or (iii) either or both of your Acorns or Acorns Early Accounts falling out of Good Standing. Acorns may, in its sole discretion, extend the Benefit to a customer who is not qualified for, or otherwise should have had the Benefit terminated.  

If any of your Acorns Accounts, Acorns Early or GoHenry Accounts, your Acorns Subscription, or your Acorns Early or GoHenry Subscription are closed or not in Good Standing for any reason at any time, any future fee waiver will be forfeited. Acorns reserves the right to revoke or deny this Benefit in its sole discretion if it has reason to believe (i) there is fraud or other unauthorized actions related to any of your accounts; (ii) inaccurate or incomplete information was provided when opening your account or applying for the Acorns Account or Acorns Early Account, or that any terms of the Acorns Program Agreement, Terms of Use, or these Benefit Terms, or the Acorns Early Cardholder Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use, or other governing agreements have been violated.

The Benefit available pursuant to this Promotion is for your monthly Acorns Early Subscription Fee only. You remain responsible for any other fees owed that are not included in your monthly Acorns Early Subscription Fee as well as your Acorns Subscription Fee. A list of such ancillary fees is included in the Acorns Early Cardholder Terms and Conditions. The Benefit available pursuant to this promotion shall not apply in the event you elect to downgrade your monthly Acorns Gold Subscription Fee at any time this Promotion is offered Acorns is not responsible for any failure by you to meet standards for qualifying for this promotion.  You are not entitled to the waiver value unless you meet all requirements contained in these Terms for each consecutive month from the date you are notified of your qualification for the Benefit, and for so long as you maintain your eligibility. 

Acorns reserves the right to reward the monthly amount of the Benefit in a manner other than a removal of Subscription Fees owed, such as, by way of example and not limitation, a refund,  an investment in the amount equal to your Acorns Early Subscription fee in your Acorns Invest Account, or a deposit in the amount equal to your Acorns Subscription fee in your Acorns Checking Account. In the event Acorns determines to change the payout mechanism of the Benefit, you will be notified prior to such change. Participation in the Benefit remains at all times subject to the terms and conditions of the Program Agreement, including without limitation the arbitration clause and class action waiver set forth therein. To the limited extent that these express terms and conditions directly conflict with the Program Agreement, these terms shall control. Acorns reserves the right to amend these terms or terminate the Benefit at any time by posting such amendment to the Acorns Website, and by notifying you in writing of any termination or waiver expiration. Waiver available to U.S residents only. This promotion is non-transferrable.

This waiver applies to both Acorns Early and GoHenry accountholders, as applicable to the date of sign up.
