Acorns Drops Promotions: An Acorns Earn promotion with Acorns Advisers, LLC (“Acorns Advisers”) where Acorns User Account holders get a Reward by Activating the Drop and completing Eligible Transactions with identified Businesses during a specified Promotion Period. Acorns User Account holders must have an Acorns Invest Account in Good Standing to participate in Acorns Earn promotions.
All terms used but not otherwise defined herein have the same meaning as in the Program Agreement.
Best Buy Drop
Business: Best Buy
Reward: Acorns Advisers will deposit $5 to your Acorns Investment Account for each verified Eligible Transaction completed with Best Buy after Activation of the Drop and during the Promotion Period (the “Reward”).
Activating the Drop: You must first activate the Drop by either clicking “Claim Drop” on the offer details page located in the Acorns Application or clicking the Drop related Push notification sent to you from Acorns Advisers on your device.
Eligible Transaction: Any purchase made by you, after Activation of the Drop and during the Promotion Period, from the applicable Business, by using a valid credit or debit card that at the time of the purchase is: (1) linked to your Acorns User Account, and (2) activated for the Acorns Round-Up® feature.
Promotion Period: You must successfully complete the Eligible Transaction between midnight (Pacific Time) on November 28, 2024 and 11:59PM (Pacific Time) on December 11, 2024. Acorns Advisers may, from time to time at its sole discretion, extend, shorten, or otherwise modify such time period by posting changes on the Acorns Website or within the Acorns Application.
Notification and Posting: You will typically be notified within 3-7 business days of successfully completing an Eligible Transaction, and the Reward to your Acorns Invest Account will typically be posted within 10-14 business days thereafter.
Other Terms
Good Standing means an account status that is not locked, suspended, or otherwise restricted in any way in Acorns Advisers’ sole discretion.
For purposes of these Terms, any “Reward” credited to you are subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the Program Agreement relating to Reward Share(s). Further, Participation in any Drop Promotion remains at all times subject to the terms and conditions of the Program Agreement, which all Acorns Users have already entered into. To the limited extent the express terms and conditions of this Agreement and those of the Program Agreement directly conflict, these Terms shall govern.
Acorns Advisers is not a party to and makes no warranties regarding any purchase from or transaction with the Business and as such shall not be liable in connection with any dispute, faulty or defective merchandise or other issues that may arise in connection with any such purchase or transaction. Nothing in these terms is intended to, or shall be deemed to, constitute a partnership or joint venture of any kind between or among Acorns Advisers or any of its affiliated entities and the Business. While it is intended that the Reward will be deposited to your Acorns Invest Account within no more than 120 days from the last date on which any item included within an Eligible Transaction is able to be returned to the Business in accordance with the Business’s standard return policy, delays may occur and neither Acorns Advisers nor the Business will be liable in connection with any such delay. You will typically be notified via e-mail, through the Acorns Application or via other means within 3-7 business days of successfully completing an Eligible Transaction included within this promotion; provided, however, that Acorns Advisers will not be liable in the event any such notice is not timely sent or received. Eligibility to participate in certain promotions may require the allowance of cookies on the applicable mobile or desktop device, and may also require other device settings as determined by Acorns Advisers from time to time. You may also be required to disable any ad blocking or private browsing in your browser settings to receive certain Acorns Earn offers.
Acorns Advisers will be unable to issue you a Reward if Acorns Advisers receives inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the Reward if (a) you purchase through a third party and not directly from the Business; (b) the Business uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or (c) you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet, even if such mobile or digital wallet is linked to a card that is also linked to Acorns Advisers. Purchases may fall outside of the Promotion Period in some cases due to a delay in merchants processing transactions or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). If Acorns Advisers does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer and occuring during the Promotion Period, you will not receive the Reward.
To the extent an Acorns User believes that they are entitled to a Reward that has not been contributed to such Users’s Acorns Invest Account, the User must notify Acorns Advisers within 60 days from the applicable transaction date by contacting Customer Support at support@acorns.com or, during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, at (855) 739-2859, or by completing and submitting a support request at https://www.acorns.com/support/contact. Acorns Advisers will, upon timely receipt of any such notice, investigate such a support request, and Acorns Advisers’ decision in respect of such matter shall be final and binding.
Acorns Advisers shall be entitled to terminate, cancel or modify, all or any portion of this or any other promotion at any time with or without advance notice by posting such modification, cancellation or termination on the Acorns Website or within its Application. In the event Acorns Advisers determines at any time and in its sole discretion that there may have been (i) unauthorized or fraudulent activity related to any account; (ii) a violation of the Program Agreement or these terms and conditions; and/or (iii) that an Acorns User Account or Acorns Invest Account is otherwise not in Good Standing, whether or not in connection with this promotion, Acorns Advisers, by and through any of its agents, further reserves the right to decline to grant any Reward; and/or withhold, rescind, delay, void liquidate, recapture, and/or claw back any Reward already provided and any security or related dollar proceeds derived from such Reward. Once an Acorns Invest Account is closed, any pending Reward(s) that have not yet been invested will be forfeited and canceled.
